On the flip side, this is what I was working on in my computer animation class. We used a 3D program called Maya to create our own robots. Maya is a popular digital animation program that was used to create the Final Fantasy games and special effects in movies like Hellboy, The Matrix, and Shrek. Of course, we only used very basic tools, but it was quite an experience and rather difficult. The robot I created was called the Swift Sweeper 280 and worked as a maid. You could program it to sweep the house, wash the dishes, and fold the clothes for example. It wasn't until now that I realized how much it resembles WALL-E, although I designed this before previews even came out. It was just pure coincidence.

Not much I can say in the way of critiques since this was my first time ever using the program. But I did come to realize I don't plan on being a storyboard artist any time soon. *laughs*
