The first avi I created (when I still had the gender set as female) when I rejoined Gaia on my current account. I used this as my shop advertisement in my signature and the welcome picture in my profile. I had another picture I drew of the same avatar, but I drew it a little more realistically. You can find that here if you're interested. I hadn't drawn chibis before except for doodles, so I had fun coming up with the head ratio (yes, I finally had an epiphany and discovered what proportioning was *laughs*). I was experimenting with a new shading and coloring technique with my colored pencils and used this as an opportunity to practice that. I tried to rescan this to make it bigger, but I couldn't get the colors to work as well as the original, so I left it alone.

I'm very pleased with the overall result, though I don't quite know what happened to the blue in the tail...*laughs*. It went tye-dye on me. The shoes are boxy and very plain, but I think during that time I didn't feel like drawing laces. The wings need a little more blue but I really like the rest.
